Secret documents of the Ministry of Defense were found at a bus stop in England
Among the documents were e-mail printouts and PowerPoint presentations of one of the dignitaries in the Ministry of Defense.
The classified documents of the UK Department of Defense were found at a bus stop in the English county of Kent, raising serious concerns about national security.
According to the BBC, 50 pages were discovered last week by an accidental passenger waiting for a bus. The documents included e-mail printouts and PowerPoint presentations from a senior ministry official, including those concerning the scandalous manoeuvre of a 45-type destroyer Defender carried out off the coast of Crimea last week. In addition, the documents discussed arms export campaigns, brief reports of the first few months of Joe Biden’s presidency, and the role of British special forces in Afghanistan after the US withdrawal.
Most of the documents were marked as “officially confidential,” which is a fairly low level of secrecy. However, an Afghan document intended for Secretary of Defense Ben Wallace was labelled “Secret UK Eyes Only“, indicating a high level of secrecy.
How confidential government documents ended up at the bus stop has not yet been established.
