The database contains 3.8 billion phone numbers of Clubhouse members, as well as users from their synchronized contact lists
Today it became known about a large data leak of Clubhouse members. Leading cybersecurity expert Jiten Jain said that the full database of Clubhouse phone numbers is up for sale on the Darknet.
The database contains information on 3.8 billion phone numbers of both Clubhouse members and users from their synchronized contact lists.
Chances are, your data is on the list, even if you did not have access to the Clubhouse, Jain notes.
Clubhouse is a popular social media app where people come together to chat, listen and learn from each other in real-time. Since its launch in March 2020, Clubhouse has been an invite-only app. On July 21 this year, the company removed the invite-only option, making the app available to all users on iOS and Android platforms.
