UK Secretary of Defense Threatens Enemy States with Cyber Attacks

British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace has threatened cyberattacks against hostile states that themselves carry out malicious hacker attacks on British computer systems in an attempt to harm the United Kingdom.

The UK will carry out cyberattacks against hostile states that will try to harm the UK. This was stated by British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace in an interview with The Sunday Telegraph.

“Some foreign countries are waging cyberwar against us every single day. In accordance with international law <…> we have the right to defend ourselves, ”the minister said.

The head of the British Defense Department clarified that the Kingdom “will protect itself from cyber operations if they are dangerous, harmful or damaging.”

Ben Wallace added that one way of such protection is “to neutralize the tools that are used against us”, for example, “use offensive cyber means” to disable the server, which is used by hackers to use spyware or ransomware viruses.
